Monara’s architectural and interior design was inspired by the ideal of appreciating the landscape and its natural environment from every interior perspective. The building is arranged over two floors and all of our bedrooms enjoy a sea view with direct access to some private outside space.
Monara is set across two expansive floors with seven thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, an inviting private pool filled with silky soft saline water and direct beach access. The villa is designed to host up to fourteen guests in effortless comfort, with spaces that invite both quiet retreat and shared moments, complemented by all-day dining, spa experiences, and curated ocean activities.

The ground floor of Monara is designed to welcome you into light-filled spaces that open up seamlessly to the outdoors. Natural materials, gentle hues, and thoughtfully placed furnishings create a sense of calm and ease, while large windows and doors frame the ocean and gardens beyond.
Chandra, the Master Suite and Ganga & Makara, the interconnecting Family Suite are all on the ground floor and offer our most spacious accommodation. Chandra is best placed for delivering the utmost privacy and they are all ideal for anyone with younger children or mobility issues.
The Upper floor of Monara is a serene, elevated retreat where each room opens out to sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and the southern coastline. Light drifts across the spaces throughout the day, creating a gentle play of shadow and warmth, while private balconies and terraces invite moments of peace and solitude. Designed for both comfort and calm, this level provides an intimate vantage point through the lush canopy of trees, where guests can pause, breathe, and take in the horizon from the privacy of their own room.
Tara and Varuna are our Deluxe Ocean View rooms on the 2nd floor, located at either end of the building. Varuna is in the best location to enjoy the sunrise, at the eastern end of the building with a direct ocean view. Tara faces south and westwards towards the sunset, overlooking both the pool and the sea below. Both have a small private balcony.
Indra and Surya are our Standard Ocean View rooms with full length windows and doors, and a wonderful view through the lush canopy of trees down to the beach below. Both rooms lead directly out onto the balcony and our wonderful Sunset Deck beyond.
For those wishing to experience Monara in its entirety, the villa may be reserved for private engagements, events and whole house bookings. Taking the full property allows for complete privacy, personalized experiences, and the freedom to shape your stay exactly as you wish.
